This tour will guide you from Stenpiren to the ruins of the old Älvsborg castle, before Gothenburg was officially founded, give you a glimpse of art and industry and end up in one of the most modern parts north of the river – Lindholmen. The tour is intended to give you a different vibe of Gothenburg and explain more about the change of the city from industrial hub to innovation capital.

This tour takes ferry transportation for short distances. Public transportation tickets are not included!

Please bring comfortable shoes, rain and windproof clothing (it is Sweden after all), a water bottle (you can refill it on the way) and best case: many questions! We love those!

MEETING POINT

The Meeting Point is located at Stenpiren Resecentrum. On the benches in front of the ferry stop. You can reach it simply by taking any public transport to Stenpiren.

The tour ends at Lindholmen across the river, a 5 min ferry ride (free) away from the starting point!
