A politically important area, industrial roots and a place for arts and fancy living. The Alternative Göteborg Tour will guide you through the parts of Gothenburg that really breath the soul of the city. This tour will guide you from Stenpiren to the ruins of the old Älvsborg castle, before Gothenburg was officially founded, give you a glimpse of art and industry and end up in one of the most modern parts north of the river – Lindholmen. The tour is intended to give you a different vibe of Gothenburg and explain more about the change of the city from industrial hub to innovation capital.
